BIG won Thailand Energy Awards 2016

On 6 December 2016, Mr. Chaiwat Niyomkarn, Senior Executive Advisor of Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. (BIG), received Thailand Energy Awards 2016 in the category of Energy Conservation for Transportation from Air Chief Marshal Prajin Juntong, Deputy Prime Minister at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).
This event was held by Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy, and awarded to BIG for outstanding achievements in the field of energy conservation for transportation with management’s vision and successful practices in energy conservation. Refer to the energy conservation activities during the years 2013 – 2015, BIG can reduce fuel consumption more than 30,000 liters or worth more than 700,000 baht. BIG is the first and only one leading industrial gas company in Thailand who has been awarded. This is another outstanding evidence of BIG’s commitment on growing business sustainably together with all stakeholders based on BIG’s purpose of “We make the world more productive, energy-efficient, and sustainable with Infinite Innovation from the Air”.
Meanwhile, it has been very honor for BIG to welcome Air Chief Marshal Prajin Juntong, Deputy Prime Minister, and General Anantaporn Kanjanarat, Minister of Energy, at BIG’s board exhibition hosted by Mr. Kannapon Rungsithum, Strategic Market Development Senior Manager, in the event.
