BIG Joins Hydrogen Energy Forum in SETA 2019

11 October 2019, BITEC, Bangkok – Piyabut Charuphen, Managing Director of Bangkok Industrial Gas Co. Ltd. (BIG), Thailand’s Innovative Industrial Gas Solutions, engaged in a seminar about hydrogen energy at “Smart Technology Transformation Asia 2019 or SETA 2019”. The seminar aimed to encourage efficient and sustainable use of alternative energy.

Bangkok Industrial Gas is invited to speak at the forum as a representative of private entrepreneurs who is the innovative leader in hydrogen energy. The symposium further purposed to bring environmental-friendly usage of energy. The session topic is alternative energy from hydrogen and significance of hydrogen energy for sustainable energy in the future. Hydrogen can be used in different aspects which are hydrogen production and consumption process construction for hydrogen, for example.

Participants from government and private sectors from different branches who can promote the use of hydrogen also attended this round-table talk. The experts are: Mr. Katsuyuki Hamada, General Manager from R&D and Engineering Management Division of Toyota, Dr. Yoshio Matsuzaki, Head of Researcher for Fundamental Technology Department, Next-Generation Fuel Cell Research Centre, Kyushu University, Japan, and Dr. Apiradee Thammanomai, Head of Alternative Energy Planning and Evaluation Group, Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy.
