BIG has been awarded Eco Factory 2016 as the First and Only Industrial Gas Provider in Thailand

On 3 October 2016, Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. (BIG) – Thailand’s leading industrial gas provider – led by Mr. Piyabut Charuphen, Managing Director of BIG, received award of Eco Factory 2016 from Dr. Atchaka Sibunruang, Minister of Industry at Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangkok in the annually symposium of ‘Eco Innovation and Solution 2016’ organized by the Industrial Environment Institute, the Federation of Thai Industries.
BIG is the first and only industrial gas provider in Thailand who has been awarded Eco Factory 2016. This achievement evidently represents our contribution on environmental-friendly business management and practice as well as the focus on developing and improving manufacturing process along with environmental management based on corporate social responsibilities for its sustainability according to the Ministry of Industry’s development plan toward the Eco Industrial Town.
There have been only 31 leading organizations qualified for the Eco Factory award 2016. Its evaluation criteria includes Basic Criteria, 14 points of Eco Factory Criteria, and Improvement Criteria for Eco Efficiency evaluation and Outcome/Impact evaluation.
