BIG Receives Two National Outstanding Awards in Labour Management and Safety

September 9, 2019, Impact Arena, Nonthaburi – at the event of Thailand Labour Management Excellence Award 2019, BIG is granted an award in excellent entrepreneur for Labour Relations and Welfare at National Level as well as an award in outstanding model for Occupational Safety and Health. BIG has been continually winning the latter award for 10 consecutive years which emphasizes that our employees and work safety are the company’s priority and primary concerns.

Mr. Piyabut Charuphen, Managing Director of Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. (BIG), Thailand’s Innovative Industrial Gas Solutions, received an outstanding award of Thailand Labour Management Excellence Award 2019 from Mrs. Walaiporn Laowanich, Deputy Director-General, Department of Labour Protection and Walfare, which is the first award of labour relations and welfares supporting for the headquarters (Bangkok). This award is to certify that BIG relies on the management that creates bilateral relations between employer and employees. The company is operated under honesty and sincerity by forming welfare in quality living for employees.

Moreover, Mr. Narit Liangwanich, Operational Excellence Senior Manager, representation of executive committee from BIG Air Separation Plant 2, received an national award for outstanding model in Occupational Safety and Health Award 2019 – Platinum Award from Mr. Sutti Sukosol, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labour. This award has been granted to BIG for 10 consecutive years. BIG passed selection standard from an evaluation team for safety and safety culture building within organization during the operation from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018. These awards are aimed to recognized and honor for good corporate practices according to international standards on labour management system.
