Thailand’s Royal Rainmaking Directors Visited BIG’s Plant

On 23 April 2018, Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. (BIG), led by Mr. Yodchai Chaitup, Operational Excellence Director, BIG’s management representative, welcomed The Department of Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation, represented by Dr. Surasri Kidtimonton, Director, Mr. Panithi Samerwong, Director of Royal Rainmaking Operation Division, and Mr. Prasob Phomma, Director of Eastern Royal Rainmaking Operation Center at BIG’s air separation plant 1 (BIG 1) in Map Ta Phut industrial estate, Rayong. The purpose of the visit was to share the know-how and observe the production process of liquid carbon dioxide (LCO2), the raw material of dry ice. On the same day, Horeco (Thailand) Co., Ltd., BIG’s business partner producing dry ice from LCO2, was also visited.
In the special occasion of 30^th Anniversary, BIG has planned to sponsor dry ice products to The Department of Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation for Royal Rainmaking operation projects which help people from the drought crisis and water shortage. This donation activity is one of the corporate social responsibility programs initiated by BIG employees under the campaign of ‘BIG 30^th Anniversary… Innovative Benefaction for Society’.
