BIG Wins The Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2019 as Thailand Leading Transportation-Logistics

September 16, 2019, Santi Maitri Building, Government House – Mr. Piyabut Charuphen, Managing Director of Bangkok Industrial Gas Co. Ltd. (BIG), Thailand’s Innovative Industrial Gas Solutions, revealed that BIG received The Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2019 of the Logistic Management and Supply Chain for the Air Separation Plant 3 (BIG 3), which is located in WHA Industrial Estate, Chonburi. The award is granted by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, the head of ceremony. It is a guarantee for the company’s success as a leader in industrial gas innovation as well as transportation and logistics technologies. The prize further reflects BIG’s commitment in better and reliable services. It also improves the company strategy in supporting cooperation and operation with customers and suppliers.

Moreover, the Prime Minister, Minister of Industry, Permanent Secretary of Industry Ministry and Governor of Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand as well as officers kindly visited BIG Exhibition at the event. This Excellent PM’s Industry Award is organized by the Ministry of Industry, aiming to grant awards for outstanding entrepreneurs who continually improves capabilities in different areas. In this year, there are 48 awards for eight categories. BIG is one of two organizations who is granted for Logistic Management and Supply Chain Award.

This award emphasizes the company accomplishment in developing process and technology for logistics and supply chain. Thus, it can be a role model for other entrepreneurs to progress their management – for higher quality and standard of companies themselves and in production process. As a result, it can create efficient management together with corporate social responsibility and environmental-friendly conditions. This will later lead to international standard and consistency with the Government policy – lifting up the standard of industry 4.0.
