Dr. Atchaka Sibunruang, Minister of Industry and Mr.Chen Namchaisiri, Chairman of The Federation of Thai Industries, together with FTI’s members, recently visited Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. (BIG) exhibition booth demonstrating how industrial gases make the world more productive, energy-efficient, and sustainable with Infinite Innovation from the Air by BIG with the warm welcome by Mr. Chaiwat Niyomkarn, Senior Executive Advisor of BIG (3rd from right). This exhibition booth was a part of Eco-Products International Fair 2016, held at BITEC Bangna on 8 – 11 June 2016. The Eco-products International Fair 2016 (EPIF2016) was held through the collaboration by the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), Thailand Productivity Institute (FTPI), and Asian Productivity Organization (APO). With the government policy to emphasize and encourage eco-friendly business in all sectors, the Cabinet is urging public agencies to become role models in environmental management by undertaking green procurement and creating a green work culture. Additionally, the tourism industry in Thailand plays a key role in environmental conservation and has endorsed green hotels for more than a decade.
