BIG Elevates Platform to Support Net Zero Goals, Utilizing AI for Enhanced Energy Efficiency and Reduced Carbon Emissions

“BIG,” a pioneering climate technology company dedicated to curbing greenhouse gas emissions, unveiled its cutting-edge Climate Technology innovation in Bangkok as part of the “GENERATING A CLEANER FUTURE” initiative on February 20, 2024, at Benjakitti Park. The event showcased groundbreaking advancements in water quality management, featuring oxygenation techniques in water sources alongside the display of hydrogen-powered electric vehicles boasting zero carbon emissions. Notable attendees included H.E. Mr. Robert F. Godec, U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, and Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok.

A notable example is the water treatment initiative at Benjakitti Park following the Loy Krathong festival, where BIG’s oxygenation process has notably improved water quality, enabling its use for watering trees in the park. For the ‘GENERATING A CLEANER FUTURE’ project, “BIG” places a premium on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations. Employing pure oxygen to bolster water quality before discharge into the reservoir near the Sirikit National Convention Center, our AI-powered oxygenation operations ensure meticulous control. Leveraging the Halia^® Mixer Aerator System technology from our U.S. parent company, we effectively eradicate nitrogen from the water, achieving a precise mix devoid of air introduction, thereby averting the release of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Additionally, our provision of real-time data via a dashboard facilitates strategic planning, with oxygen levels and water quality visibly displayed on LED screens, offering invaluable insights to park visitors.

Moreover, “BIG” spearheaded tree planting activities in Benjakitti Park in collaboration with representatives from the United States Embassy and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA).
