2011 is another BIG success year for Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. or BIG as the corporate has been recognized for its outstanding performance on environment, health and safety.

In June 2011 Khun Chaiwat Niyomkarn, Senior Executive Director, as BIG deligate to receive the environmental governance award (white flag green star) from Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT).

Again in July, Khun Chaiwat Niyomkarn represented the company in receiving the National Safety, Occupational Health and Work Environment Award which is the top award granted to the organization with excellence in safety management. BIG is the only industrial gas company receiving this award and this year marks the 5th time BIG received this prize.

Continuing in August, Khun Piyabut Charuphen, Managing Director received the award from the Labor and Welfare Ministry for BIG’s outstanding safety performance and safe workplace management, and has been granted a silver-level award for achieving without any lost time accident for 8 consecutive years.
