Founded in 1987 to serve Thailand petrochemical industrial prosperity, Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. (BIG) is a joint venture between Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. of the USA and several Thai investors including Bangkok Bank PCL.

Today, we own and operate the most reliable air separation plants to serve Eastern Seaboard industry. The first and the second air separation plants (BIG1, BIG2) supply refinery and petrochemical industries at Mab Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong. These plants are integrated into a single multi-plant network, and supply the largest pipeline system in Thailand. BIG3 is located in Chonburi Industrial Estate (Bo Win) to supply world-class steel mills. As the country's industry continue to grow, in 2006 BIG joined investment to install the largest air separation plant to supply gas oxygen and nitrogen to the petrochemical expansion in eastern seaboard area. Liquid products from these plants are produced and delivered throughout country via bulk tankers.

Apart from the atmospheric gases of oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, we also supply hydrogen, helium, and other high purity specialty gases. Various H₂ supply sources have been developed to ensure supply reliability and purity ranging from industrial grade to UHP (Ultra High Purity) grade.
